Built on a Legacy. Carried Forward
by a Community.

The Loney-Walsh Collective expands literacy, educational access, and opportunity for underserved communities. Founded by Kurtious Loney-Walsh, the organization grew from the Annual Aunt Lize Spelling Bee in Albion Mountain, St. Mary, Jamaica, created to honor his great-grandmother and celebrate academic achievement.

What began as a small community event now provides school supplies, meals, technology prizes, and academic recognition to students with limited resources. By partnering with schools, families, and local leaders, the Collective builds programs that promote learning, confidence, and opportunity.

Through literacy initiatives, educational support programs, and resource distribution, The Loney-Walsh Collective works to empower the next generation of scholars and leaders worldwide

HEAR FROM OUR FOUNDER

Built by someone
who came back

Kurtious Loney-Walsh grew up in Albion Mountain surrounded by young people with extraordinary potential. What many lacked wasn't talent or ambition, it was access to the opportunities and resources needed to thrive.

The Loney-Walsh Collective was created to help close that gap, building on a longstanding tradition of community members investing in one another and creating pathways for future generations.
